Slow-cooking Meadow Brook Farms Roast

One All Natural Roast

One Package 8 – 16 oz of washed mushrooms – sliced
One medium onion, sliced or chopped
One plus to your liking garlic cloves, crushed
1 cup of red wine
1/4 – 1/2 cup of water
Salt
Pepper
1 -2 beef bouillon cubes

Note: The roast can be frozen and placed directly into the slow cooker in the morning and left to cook until the meat is tender and delicious. I use high cook setting for part of the day when I am home and then set it back once it has begun to cook the meat to low setting until the dinner hour.

The size of the roast and your slow cooker will vary, so what works best for me does not for you. If the roast is thawed when you begin, it will take less time in the cooker.

Serve with noodles, potatoes or rice. Add a healthy veggie, and you have yourself a great meal and, if the roast was big enough, you will have leftovers the next day.
